“We realize that there are short cuts to diving education, however we recognize the importance of repetition and allowing time to digest learned skills and academics. Entering any underwater realm where we can’t breathe the air around us has its inherent risks. Much like driving an automobile, diving requires a learning process that involves an allotted amount of time. Once learned, practice is essential for enjoying a safe diving experience.”

Mid Ohio Divers

CSI also recognizes the great opportunities to meet other divers and families. We have established the Mid Ohio Divers which is a Central Ohio based dive club. The focus of Mid Ohio Divers is to gather fellow divers together for trips, BBQs, camping, diving, and diving related philanthropy events at the local quarries. The MOD host an annual barbecue that helps raise thousands of dollars to benefit disabled divers and other projects to support “Divers Helping Divers.” Since the founding, the Mid Ohio Divers have participated in multiple fundraising events and associations. Some of our more recent examples include: Wounded Warriors, Boy Scouts, Big Brother/Big Sister, and Adaptive Divers.  You can follow the Mid Ohio Divers for upcoming events and updates on their Facebook page. We hope to see you at Dive club!
